Are you Welsh? One of the main characters in 'Gavin and Stacey' is called Brynn. Only time I've heard of it but I quite like it.

I prefer the spelling Bryn, but I think it's lovely.

For a boy or a girl? I like Bryn for a boy but I think Brynn is popular for girls in the US

I like it, although it does make me think of Gavin and Stacey!

I know a Bryn lovely boy with a lovely name.

It wouldn't have occurred to me that it could be anything other than a boys name.

I'd expect it to be a boy with a Welsh connection, who grows to be a man with a stunning bass voice (like Terfel).

It's an old-fashioned Welsh man's name, not cool at all.

Shock DS2 is a Bryn. He's late teens, uber cool and loves his name.

"It means 'hill' in Welsh". I would want to call him 'Uncle Bryn' Grin

I think it's great, also prefer one 'n', seriously considered it for DS, but in the end went for a 2 syllable name.

Ooh love it, never heard of it before! Really nice, uncommon but not yoonique/made up, and not part of a trend - ticks all my boxes!

The second n is silly.
Bryn is nice for a boy

Unle Bryn and Bryn Terfel. It's a nice simple name.

I'm not a massive fan, but Bryn is nice for a boy :)

I also don't mind it for a girl (that's probably because I know one!) she spells it 'Brynn' and I think that's better for a girl - so that people don't assume she's a boy :)

I quite like Bryn for a boy.

I think Brynn would be better for a girl.

I live in Wales and I've met some wonderful little Bryns. A great name.

I once worked at a nursery with an after school club.
They had a boy called Bryn. I thought it was a girls name due to dark angel (the dad must have been a dark angel fan as he had a barcode on the back of his neck) . But it's nice for a boy too.

Love Bryn (never heard of a Brynn spelling). Even though I grew up in Wales there was only one I knew in our school.

We called our dog Bryn and he was aceSmile

I went to school with a very nice Bryn. But to me, Bryn will always mean "hill" Grin
