Brother for Grace

My daughters name is Grace Eloise.
I'm really stuck for names with this one, and can't seem to find any I like apart from Albie but so many mixed opinions and I'm not really sure either. I also like William but my second name is Turner so it reminds me of the Pirates of the Caribbean film. So stuck!

Jacob? Goes nicely with Grace.

Samuel was my first though :)

One other thing with William is the TV show Will & Grace. Not sure if that would bother you.

Other names I think are nice with Grace:

James
Isaac
Joshua
Jacob
Henry
Harry
Charlie

Henry has grown on me in the last few weeks but I like it spelt 'henri'
I didn't think of 'Will and Grace' bugger! That's worse than the Pirates of the Caribbean reference. I don't actually like Jacob, I don't like how it sounds. Harry and Charlie are too overused at the moment and I would like a name that isn't as popular but nothing ridiculous. I like Issac but one of my friends has just named her son Issac unfortunatly. I also like Noah but I'm not religious and it might seem intentional as Grace is quite a biblical name.

Please don't spell Henry Henri if you live in England. It will either be mispronounced or mis spelled every single time for his whole life.

My Grace's brother is called Patrick. I think they go together really nicely and if you live in England there aren't many of them.

Albie nn for Albyn is top of my boy list at the moment. Other current contenders are:

Seth
Solomon
Torin
Odin
Arlo
Art
Edison
Leo

There have been a few others that have been discounted and am still undecided so many more could still be added!

I love Edison and Torin but I like Albie more. Albin is lovely too!
Not keen on names like Ian and James, just a bit boring! Sorry if anyone's child is called that!
Maybe Albie Edison Turner?! Gosh it's so hard haha

Think if I were to go with just Albie as a name rather than being short for Albyn/Albin or Albert I would probably spell it Alby instead. I prefer Albie for a baby/child but think Alby suits a grown man better. Just my personal preference though.

You're right, it is so hard! Grin

It's a shame you don't like James, they go really well!

Grace and Noah sound lovely; not too religious... I would never think of Grace as being religious and Noah is used by so many, it's slightly lost its 'religious touch' - I love the name!

Other names:

  • Archie
  • Benjamin
  • Cameron
  • Daniel
  • Elliot
  • Finn

Can't use Sam as that's the name of his dad who wants no part of his life. I love William. I do like Noah but when he's at school I reckon there will be 3 others in the same class, it's so popular now. I'm so worried I won't be able to think of a name haha. It's worrying me now. I'm due in April!
