I like Jenna as its Welsh and we are Welsh but I am not massively keen on Jen as a nn but u can't really stop that

I'm in wales but only know one Jenna and she is actually English.
Jenna is a lovely name though, and different to Gemma.

I know four Jennas, a Janna and a Gemma, but no Clara.

I always associate Clara with the heroine of the Nutcracker and Jenna with the porn star who was on Celebrity Big Brother. Sorry about that thought

Clara is a gorgeous name, and sounds better with Megan IMO

I don't mind the name Jenna either but the repeated"e" sound of "Jenna" and 'Megan" means the name doesn't roll off the tongue in quite the same way.

Clara is indeed v popular on Mumsnet, but I've only met one little one in RL. It is probably going to rise in popularity- but how much is rather unpredictable.
The main thing is that right now it is not hugely popular so your DD is unlikely to be one of several in her year at school/uni.
