I met a very sweet little jemima today. I had almost forgotten this name. But it's known classic and rare but instantly recognisable. so wyoo?

Also met a Laurie (Laurence) Hermionie and a maude???

Yes started at a new baby group, but the names were great!

Jemima was our girl name before we found out we were having a boy, I love it. I've seen it mentioned on several threads recently but it's really low in the actual baby name charts so it is unlikely she would meet many other Jemimas.

Really like the name Jemima! Laurie is nice for a boy too.

Jemima is great. We have a Sylvia in our group, I thought that was a Mn myth(!)

Two Barney's and one Barnaby in our group is odd though!

I like the name Jemima but the mother of the child I knew who was called it would always introduce her DD as "Jemima, as in Puddleduck" which I thought was a bit weird and unhelpful.

At the baby group I went to today there was a Bruno... A name I haven't heard at all since having children or as a teacher!!

Love Jemima. Yesterday met s Posy, certainly thought the mum was an MNer as I've seen Posy (maybe Poesie?) mentioned here.
Otherwise all the names are quite usual around here I think.
