This is purely hypothetical as I don't plan on having another dc for a long time. I love making name lists though Smile I like old names that sound as if they belong on old actors and actresses. I don't like anything too posh sounding, stuff like Benedict and Henrietta while nice are too posh sounding (for me, no offence to anyone with DC called those Wink)

So far I've got

Girls:
Lana (is it a problem backwards?)
Rita
Ruby
Ivy
Audrey
Iris
Betty
Vera

Boys:
Freddie
Andrew
Johnny
David
Bert
Roy
James

Are they too old man? My dc has one of those names, I'd like some more suggestions to add and opinions on the ones there Smile

I looove Vera! DH said it's too frumpy and old lady-ish but I associate it with old Hollywood and also Vera Farmiga who I think is fan.
I also think Marlon (Brando) and Orson (Wells) are great names

Anyone who looks at Lana backwards and comments is a tosser. It's a beautiful name!

I really like Rita too :)
