I feel like this name is growing on me... It's not too popular either, opinions? It's one of DH's favourites

I like that it means James too (my dad's name)

As in Dora the Explorer's cousin?

I'd say yes if you have Spanish connections otherwise no :)

I think it's OK.

Everyone will think 'Maradona' but perhaps that'll reduce a bit over time.

Well, we own a house in Spain and went to it 3 times a year when I was a baby, all the way until now! So, no, I don't have any heritage, but Spain has been a big part of my life! How about as a middle name??

I wouldn't, unless you have Spanish heritage. It's a nice name but a bit too Spanish for me.

Yes as a middle name, good compromise!

It'd make a nice middle name, yup.

Would be odd unless you have Spanish roots.

I know a guy called Dimitri Murphy. The most exotic his lineage gets is Offaly.

It doesn't really mean James, it's more like what Jimbo is to James, but with the resemblance that Peggy has to Margaret.

Jaime is the Spanish for James ("HI-may").

It's nice, but I too wouldn't use it, unless you have Spanish heritage :)
