Carter Bridge

Frankie Bridge has had her second son and named him Carter. I googled it and came up with this bridge in Lagos:

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carter_Bridge

Any thoughts? I'm not keen myself.

I really like Carter. Not with Bridge though

No worse than Parker Bridge...

I really like Carter - I really like Parker too.. Agree that it doesn't really go that well with "Bridge" though. They like it, that's all that matters really x

It's awful. In the same way that Parker is awful.

Parker and Carter. Yuck.

I like Carter. I don't think it's that bad with bridge. Is Frankie Bridge in the Saturdays?

Oh I see, she also has a son called Parker. Parker Bridge is much worse.

I've not a clue who this is but why have they named their poor children after pre refurbishment Toby Inns? Just why would iundonthat?

Squooshed · 26/08/2015 16:50

Awful names.

But she was bonkers to change her own name from Frankie Sandford to Frankie Bridge.

Tiggeryoubastard · 26/08/2015 16:53

I meant to say 'why would you do that?'.

Palomb · 26/08/2015 16:55

Terrible.

The poor kids sounds like landmarks.

I'm not keen on the sibling names together sounds a tad daft but their choice.

SallyStarbuck · 26/08/2015 16:56

They are a little rhyme-y, aren't they?

The test of whether a name is too similar to someone else's is if you stand at the bottom of the stairs and bellow it, how many people come running?

They both sound like tube stations, or accounting firms.

Really dislike both names and especially together but if they like them!

Not my taste, but Carter and Parker are awfully rhymey together. Also agree Carter Bridge sounds like a US landmark.

Nice names individually, not for siblings n NOT with the surname Bridge. It's their choice of course but it doesn't seem terribly well considered.
