Amity
Nia
Brooke.

I think Amity is lovely and underused.

Nia doesn't really sound like a real name (is it?) and not a fan of Brooke I'm afraid.

SavoyCabbage Sun 05-Jul-15 00:07:01

Everything Gnome said! Nia is just a noise to me.

FraggleHair Sun 05-Jul-15 02:23:31

Amity reminds me of the Amityville murders and subsequent horror films.

Nia will constantly be mistaken for the very popular Mia.

Brooke is okay.

NadiaWadia Sun 05-Jul-15 02:24:36

Nia is the only one I like.

Nia is a Welsh name. I have lots of family in Wales and I'm familiar with it and think it's lovely. haven't come across it outside of Wales though and agree it could be confused with Mia ( though I think it is nicer)

Nia

Luciferbox Sun 05-Jul-15 10:56:22

Nia, it's a lovely name.

NerrSnerr Sun 05-Jul-15 10:58:09

Nia. It was on my list for my daughter.

reuset Sun 05-Jul-15 11:20:23

Nia, then Amity. Not a fan of Brook

reuset Sun 05-Jul-15 11:23:02

I know an African Nia. It's not just a Welsh name.

Nia

IsadoraQuagmire Sun 05-Jul-15 13:51:50

Amity, it's the most unusual. I know a few Brookes and one quite annoying Nia (short for Nicola)

VixxFace Sun 05-Jul-15 14:10:41

Nia

BadHenry Sun 05-Jul-15 15:10:47

Amity, then Nia.

Dislike Brooke - I find it quite harsh and very American sounding.

wigglesrock Sun 05-Jul-15 15:53:14

Nia by a long way. It's lovely.
Amity just reminds me of the town in Jaws, not necessarily a bad thing but I'd just think you were a massive fan and I think your daughter would probably just use the name Amy.

Brooke - I just don't like .

Twinkie1 Sun 05-Jul-15 15:56:32

Brooke a bit dare I say it, chavy.

Nia, will always be mistaken for Mia.

Amity just makes me think of horror films but otherwise is quite pretty.

Onedayinthesun Sun 05-Jul-15 16:07:50

Brooke is such a sophisticated, pretty name totally unfussy and so NOT chavy or common.

Nia - dreadful

Amity - awful

applecatchers36 Sun 05-Jul-15 16:10:05

Nia - great name

Lovethebubbles Sun 05-Jul-15 16:19:38

I like Brooke the best

Elbadram Sun 05-Jul-15 16:34:00

I like Nia best. Amity doesn't sound like a real name to me sorry and I echo that Brooke is quite harsh sounding.

lljkk Sun 05-Jul-15 16:38:42

Brooke by a huge margin.

Wafflenose Sun 05-Jul-15 20:45:33

Amity

DramaAlpaca Sun 05-Jul-15 20:49:59

Nia

Zakken Sun 05-Jul-15 21:37:21

There's nothing pretty about Brooke - it's a monosyllabic name with hard consonants.

Nia makes me think of Monty Python and the Knights who say "Ni" grin

Amity is an underused 'virtue' type name which is very pleasant, and can easily be shortened to Amy if she prefers it.
