... but other half doesn't then we need some alternatives. Can MN help?

To go along with our unique surname we ideally need a long name - 2 or 3 syllables.
Also it sounds better if the name has a 'hard' sound at the end like the names above (rather than a 'soft' ending like Sophie, Poppy, Verity which just sound silly with our surname)

Can you chuck some names at me?

Ooh definitely some new ones I like there.
Am going to try the DP with Jasmine, Charlotte and Bethan...
I love Hannah also but a new cousin has just got that name.
Is it weird that all my favourites all start with H!

Another vote for Juliet and Rachel.

How about Meredith, Rhiannon, Judith, Carys or Rosanne?

Ugh my name is Heather and I hate it. Sounds like a middle-aged soccer mom from Wisconsin.

I'm another Heather and hate it! But you might like Hazel. Hester, Henrietta, Hayley, Hannah, Hilary, Helen, Hebe, Honor etc...

So there was a screwed up face over jasmine and bethan, but Charlotte is a maybe...
but on the new names i love madeleine so going to try that, mulling over Rachel as well - nice name but feels a bit 80's!
there are some really nice suggestions but do you find you are put off because of a person you know in real life?
