Baby names

Really struggling with Girls names.

I am 7 months pregnant with DC2 (my partners first) and we haven't found out the sex of the baby. We are agreed that if we have a boy he will be named after DP but we are really really struggling to agree on a girls name.

I like Millie or Georgia, but due to people we know with these names they're really not a possibility.

Surname ends in a 'lee' sound so a lot of girls names seem to sound ofd with it.

DP liked Kya but I veto'd it and he's changed his mind now anyway.

I'm really starting to panic!! I want something unusual but not ridiculous or made up.

Oooh NameChanged I love the last 5. DP will veto Nancy but I can work on the others. We've gotten into the habit of suggesting ridiculous names so that when we suggest one we actually like it won't seem so bad Grin

I really love the name Isis but I just don't think it would be a good idea now Sad

I wouldn't call a boy baby after him - how confusing. And limiting when there are so many lovely boys names out there.

For girls though - Tessa, Lillian, Coral, April, Emerald, Maggie, Juno, Ruth, Vivienne.

Can't you find a nice new boys name of his own? There are plenty out there!

If you liked Isis what about Iris?

Or Ines/Inez?

Our boys name will be shortened to a nn which we love so it won't be the same as DP's.

I love Seren but wasn't sure if it was too obviously welsh as we're not welsh at all?
