Can't sleep. You lovely lot helped me choose Fenella Ruth for my baby. At the scan today I discovered she was a he. There hasn't been a boy baby in my DH ' S family since he was born 34 years ago. He has 3 younger sisters and they all have girls as do his cousins. MIL"joked" today we may need a DNA test. (COW) Our other DD is Melissa and I have no idea at all for a boy's name as I got brainwashed into thinking we couldn't have a boy. Please could you help? DH immediately said Donavan which I hate. I think I want 3 syllables with a GOOD nn not Don ha ha!

"We don't have girls in our family" said mil, just before we told her we were expecting a girl.

Benedict?

Thanks for the suggestions...and support re MIL! DH only wants Donovan so he can call him The Don. ??
I like all of your ideas AuntieStella. Is Jonathan too old fashioned and is Jonty ok as a nn? Can't get used to this baby being a bou.

I love Gabriel and Jonathan best out of those suggested so far, especially to go with Melissa.

Melissa and Jonty

Melissa and Gabe.

Both great.

It doesn't mean that literally - it means gift of God in Greek.

Jonathan is a terrific name and so is Gabriel. If you're planning to shorten it I would go for Jonathan.

Arf at Fenton. Seriously? After the Youtube video, Fenton will always be a badly behaved dog
