I've got a nerdy one for you...

Ok so very unlikely but I am 40+6 today and having mild irregular contractions. We don't know what we are having but I've agreed that if baby is born on March 20th and is a girl then we'll call her Luna Grin

Any idea on space/moon related boy names just in case?

I quite like Buzz too but they seem a bit too cool for us to pull off!

DH and I aren't pregnant yet, but we have the name planned for a future son - we're going for Edwin Neil - after the first two men to pee on the moon.

(It also works because my lovely, late, Gran was Winifred, known as Win, so we're kind of honouring her too).

Lovely idea! Moon ones are tricky I think, as mostly female. Some fairly usable stars/constellations though: Orion, Sirius, Leo.

Love Luna! I think it's a gorgeous name whether she's born in the 20th or not! Grin

Apollo is great too. Also atlas is one of Jupiters moons I think. Atlas is a good strong name.

How about Sol for the sun?
Or you could look up the names of gods and goddesses of the sun or moon? Or the names of the moons of Jupiter or Uranus?

Remus (Lupin) werewolf in Harry Potter. Remus twin of Romulus - raised by a wolf.
(Playing on the moon / wolf connection).

Buzz Aldrin's name was Edwin, so go for that, but just call him Buzz as a nickname.

Cyrus means sun I think.

Or to stretch it really quite a lot go for Tyler (Bonnie Tyler total eclipse of the heard).

Loving these ideas! I like Sol a lot. We have an Edwin in the family so can't really use that. I don't think baby is going to make an appearance yet but it's fun to have a theme just in case.

Cosmo is a proper name and a good one at that.

Copernicus
Mark/Marcus comes from Mars so is kind of spacey

Mercury/mercutio

Newton/Albert/Stephen?
