Lucie. Do you think these are too similar for a sibling set? I already have Ds Louis now expecting DD. DH is French. What are the nicknames for Lucie?

I don't think they're too close necessarily but I depends what you shorten them too, in my head id call them both 'Lou' neither can really be shortened to anything else.
I had the same issue with naming my dd2. Dd1 is called Phoebe and I liked Felix for baby #2 which in themselves aren't too similar but both would be shortened to Fi or something similar and I just thought it would cause too much confusion

I think too close, sorry. I can't think of a nickname that doesn't have the 'Lu' sound in it.

I think they're too close really but but nice names independently so go for it if you really want to.

Sophie, Claire, Clara, Anna, Laura, Juliet.

There are loads of girls names that sound the same or very similar in French and English. Two Lou names would be unusual enough for people to notice and comment.

It's a shame! I agree. Thanks for the other suggestions . Like Manon but would not use it. Don't think Camille would be pronounced right in English. Juliette is pretty. Also like Ines and Margot but need to work on DH !
