I'm not keen, but it's not my baby. If you like it that's what matters.

P.s I think it's a mouthful that just doesn't roll off the tongue well.

I'm undecided. I quite like it but never heard of it before and sometime I'm naive to what people Wud associate diff names with like on a TV program or something Iv missed lol

I quite like it, Nat or Nate as a nickname.

Reminded me of Jo's Boys Smile

Well I'd not choose the names Nathan or Daniel, so an amalgamation of the two doesn't appeal.

Love it.

I love the name Nate, but would want to use Nathaniel on the birth certificate I think...

I love it and it would be one of my top choices if I ever have a son.

Bit of a mouthful and detest Nate.

I do like it but just for information there was a Nathaniel as my school who was universally known as Fanny.

Report
stickygotstuck · 01/02/2015 21:29

I like it.

I know two, one in is 30's and one 5 year old. Both of them are known by the full version. The other 5 year old in his class don't seem to find the length of the name an issue BTW.

Oh I love it! And Nate as well. Really fab name.

I don't have any particular associations. I suppose there is Nate in Gossip Girl, Nate Ruess from the band Fun, Nathaniel Hawthorn...

AmysTiara · 01/02/2015 21:47

I like Nate too

ZenNudist · 01/02/2015 21:55

I have one, nn Nate, so obviously we like it. I know another one the same age (4).

Tbh it's a mouthful to bellow across the playground! It's hard for him to write.
