Initally my husband and I were set on Archer Grey but, having realised just how many Archies there are milling about in nurseries around the country, we've decided to go back to the drawing board. And that's where you're help would really come in useful.....

Which do you prefer - middle name dilemmas plus surname included!

Jasper Grey Davey
Jasper Arlo Davey
Jasper Otis Davey

Otis Fox Davey
Otis Grey Davey

Franklin Grey Davey

:)

I love franklin but I don't think it works with grey as a middle name with your surname but Franklin Otis or Franklin jasper sound good together.

Favourite is Otis but I am not so keen on either middle names.

I love them all - I have a little franklin! It gets lots of compliments and we haven't met another one yet, Frankie is becoming more popular but think it's still a long way off the top ten.

I don't like Jasper at all. It's a bit comedy posh to me.

Otis has a cool association with Otis Redding, less cool association with Bryan Ferry's blood sport son.

Franklin/Frankie is my favourite I think.

Ooh Franklin was a late addition, so interesting it's currently winning... really thrown the cat among the pigeons!

Franklin Otis Grayson Davey

Jasper Arlo is the one I'd go for. Otis ruined for me by being associated with Bryan Ferry's son.

Jasper Arlo

Otis is an Aardvark.

Franklin was on our shortlist too. Franklin Otis sounds nicer than Franklin Gray, I think.

I really wanted to call ds1 Jasper, hes a 13yr old William now though s H vetoed it.

Out of the names my favourite is Jasper Grey Davey, not Franklin, I actually know a couple of newbie Franklins so think it might be on the rise in popularity, plus will inevitably be shortened to Frankie, which I am not ken on.

Franklin Fox

Otis Fox is ironic seeing as Bryan Ferry ' s son was master of the fox hounds. I love Arlo Grey. Very cool.

Otis Fox is my favourite. Don't know anything about the Bryan Ferry connection. 'Grey Davey' makes me think 'Gravy' but that's probably just me!

I like Franklin and Otis the most (I have a horse called Otis so I couldn't use it, but I LOVE it!) so for me

Otis Franklin Davey
or
Franklin Otis Davey

are the nicest combinations Smile happy choosing!

Otis or Franklin. Jasper is too posh-sounding for my taste.

Otis Fox.

Franklin will end up Frankie - of which there are also quite a few milling around! It's quite nice though.

I have a Franklin! He's 2.5 now :) No one calls him Frankie (which I am rather disappointed by because I like it!) and he corrects people if they call him Frank haha.

MyNameIsSuz · 23/01/2015 20:59

Nobody calls mine Frankie either! He does get Frank, Franks or Frankles though, but mostly just Franklin.
