I have no idea why but the name Duncan just popped into my head.
I wasn't even planning on replying to this thread.

Buster is a dogs name, Merlin is a wizard Confused not very helpful sorry!

I'm in exactly the same position, 3 weeks left and absolutely no names we can agree on Hmm

Buster Ghost, or Buster Dust.

Merlin Sherlock. Or Merlin Blaine.

I agree Buster and Merlin are a bit too kids TV, ok as middle names though! Out of Seth and Byron I prefer Byron, Seth is too hissy for me.

I'm 8 days from due date and can't think of a boys name either! We had one, been the same for the past 5 years (DD would have been it if a boy) and now I don't like it.

We are considering Walter, Jasper, Hayden, but not getting the 'vibe' about any of them like we did with our chosen girl's name.

I've taken to reading the credits on Tv shows. All male names are wrong!

Buster and Merlin sound like a cartoon duo.

I do like Byron but it's a name with expectations attached. I would expect a Byron to look all swoonsome and Byronesque.

Byron is a name to live up to, I agree with squoosh.

Seth is nice. The best of your choices, I think.

Seth is really nice

I think Merlin is great, as is Byron. No idea what Byronesque is...? But would think that a baby boy Byron would 'make' his name i.e. people will associate the name with him, once they met him!

Really dislike the sound of Seth, so lispy and ugly imo, sorry.

I like Byron and Merlin. Seth is ok. Don't like Buster at all!

Seth is ok but a bit lispy. Don't like any of the other names sorry. Not my place to suggest any. But I chose my DC's names thinking more about how it would sound when they were adults not babies.

What about something old like Kester, Krister or Jago?

(just going to check I've not made up Kester...thinking Cornish) (hmm)

Report
ArchangelGallic · 29/11/2014 21:47

Haha it's real and a Scottish form of Christopher.

BlueChampagne · 29/11/2014 22:56

Jags is Cornish though. I have come across a Merlin professionally - a name to conjure with - but I prefer it to Buster. Like Byron too. Now about Conrad - unusual but not unknown?

BlueChampagne · 29/11/2014 22:57

Sorry, how about Conrad ...

Report
BlueChampagne · 29/11/2014 22:58

Jago - damn predictive text, plus Wine ...
