What's the best girls & boys name out of these?

These are my options so far, there seems to be more girls names I like than boys....

J names and hyphenated names aren't really popular on here so you might get some flack.

Out of your names I like Joshua, Jack (this spelling) and lila. I'd drop the hyphens in favour of solid names, but that's personal taste. I think the hyphen will really date the names too.

I also favour solid names so only prefer Joshua and Amerie from your list - which are actually really lovely names!

I prefer Joshua Jack (I wouldn't use the hyphen) as I think Jaylen sounds like it's missing the nerd (I possibly watch too much TBBT).

I don't like Jolie as part of a name (I wouldn't like Pretty either). I've never heard Amerie before, but think it's quite nice.

I'm afraid I'm not keen on any of them, but best of the bunch: Jack, or Joshua, spelt correctly with no hyphens! Girl names not to my taste at all,although marie, Rae and lila are nicer than the other names/combinataions, but much better as stand alone first and second names, without hyphen! would you go for Renee instead of Rae? You seem to like French-sounding girls' names.

Joshua and Jack are both nice without the hyphens and with proper spellings. I don't like Jaylen it sounds like you mashed a few names together to be original.
Jolie will get the piss taken out of her as soon as her classmates learn the meaning whether she is pretty or not and hyphenating it makes it worse not better. Dd went to school with a Lila, she was a nice little girl so for me it is a pleasant name although not one I'd chose myself and definitely don't hyphenate. Never heard of Amerie but reminds me of those Moxie dolls dd had, I think one was called Avery.

I think people might mishear Amerie as Amelie which is so popular at the moment. Your DD would have to correct people when she first meets them. Not a deal breaker if you like it the best, more of a potential irritant.

Yes I think with Amerie as you pronounce it you will forever be correcting people who will mistake it for Amelie or Annmarie. I suppose it depends whether that would bother you really.

Really really don't like hyphens. However, I like most of the names individually. I'd go for Joshua and Lila.

I like Joshua (without the Jak as I think Joshua is long enough) and Lila-Rae the best. Not keen on the others. Amerie is pretty but I immediately went "nah nah nah nah nah oh!" as soon as I read it. She was a one hit wonder about 5 years ago with a very catchy song that I will now have in my head all afternoon . I guess a lot of people won't think of her as it was quite a while ago but I think people may struggle to pronounce or spell it. I really like the alternative suggestion of Amara.

Out of the boys don't like any Jayden just don't like and Joshua Jack is too long and doesn't even go,
Lila-Rae is very pretty through.
