How would you pronounce Mateo?

Just that really, how would you pronounce it and what do you think as a name? Would be a brother for Luca if we decide to go with it.

Aargh it was all going so well til I got to mono that's the thing that puts me off that he will get it pronounced like that Grin but if your friend spells it differently maybe it will be ok?!

If you're going for another Italian name though, Matteo is Italian, the spelling with one T is Spanish.
