Middle name for Penelope

Just a bit of a poll really. Please vote for your favourite
I am not looking for more name suggestions- please only your favourite of these two- if you don't like either, that's fine but please don't slate them.

We have chosen Penelope for our DD2 due in 2 days. We need to decide on a middle name.

A sister to Ariana.

We have a one syllable last name (totally outs self)

These are VERY different names but will give you a brief reason for why we like them.

First choice: Penelope London

I know it's a little 'out there' and we really don't want to go for the whole 'Brooklyn, India, Paris' type of place name but we just think it's sounds strong and not only that, we are not originally from London but met here, made a life here, and it has significant meaning for us- we realise it might be a little 'too out there' for some and was for us at first but kind of just grew on us.

Second choice- Penelope Aurélia

We have always loved this name both feminine and masculine version (Aurelius/Aurelian)
It means 'golden' and since DD1's first name means 'silver' in Welsh (or 'holy one' Latin) I think silver and gold have a nice connection grasps at straws
But we also realise it is quite close to DD1's name in sound hence why we are considering it as a middle name.

Thanks for taking the time to read!

I like London. Not because I like the name London, but I love out here middle names.

Desperate to use Lilac as a middle name if I have another girl, for this exact reason.

I like London. Only as a middle name, but I'm another who thinks middle names should either honour family or be something you love but wouldn't use as a first name.

I really like them both. London does sound strong, and Aurelia is one of my favourite names. Do either work better with your surname (initial wise)?

I prefer Penelope Aurelia.

FYI one of the Kardashians has a child called Penelope Scotland. Just wanted to let you know!

Yay Grin I was expecting a lot more of a negative reaction to London... Really pleased.

They both work really well with last name so don't think that will effect the final choice.

I know justnapping HmmConfused it really annoys me about that but was hoping not many people would make that connection. Stupid Kardashians.

At first I
Thought definitely not London but within a few minutes it has grown on me so Penelope London for me Grin (although like both).

Not keen on either; london is not a person's name (ignores the person on cbbc) and the other one has nipple connotations.

I'm not looking for more suggestions.

Penelope London sounds a bit cartoon-ish to me, I don't like out there names. Aurelia is really nice, but you may get people mispronouncing it (there was a thread about it a while ago, Aur-ay-lia vs Aur-ee-lia).
