DH and I are expecting DD2 and my favourite name is Piper but DH is not 100%
What are your opinions on Piper? DD1 is Violet and my other possibilities are
Hazel
Tallulah
Felicity
Matilda
Ottilie

Thanks!

I've always liked Piper as a girls name - Gillian Andersons daughter is called Piper Maru Smile

I like all your names including Piper

I think Piper is absolutely dreadful. Sorry. From your list I like Hazel best. Violet also a lovely name.

I prefer Pippa?
I like Felicity (not sure about flick though) and Matilda from your list.

I like Piper. I also like Felicity and Matilda from your list.
As you already have Violet, not sure about using Hazel too as both colour/flower names. But that's just me.

Sounds like a surname to me. I know it's not, but it sounds like one of those surnamey American names. Harper's in the same category for that reason.

Piper is a gorgeous name, we were considering it for DD.

I really LOVE it. Gorgeous.

How is Piper a name? It refers to someone who plays the pipes.

Just sounds awful, sorry. Like a surname and when these are used as first names I think they sound very dated very quickly.

The others on your list are nice. Ottilie sounds beautiful.

I know a 7yo Piper, lovely girl but not a fan of the name. Prefer Matilda, think it goes much better with Violet.

I like it because of piper in orange is the new black! However I also like a pp's suggestion of pippa which I think is more in the style of your dd1 name.

I love Piper. Odd but it seems much more trendy than Ottilie but I've only heard of Ottilie these last few months but heard of Piper since Charmed. There is an interesting article about a woman who named her daughter Ottilie but calls her Sparkle as the name doest suit. Try to get your partner on board with Piper. It doesn't sound like he's 100% on any names!

Really dislike Piper. Love Hazel, Ottilie and Felicity.

Agree with pp that Piper will date. Pippa is much better. Or any of the other names on your list (except Tallulah).

Phipps is dull compared to your other names.

Love Otillie!

It probably will date but who cares - I love it!

Your other names would go better with dd1's name though.

Piper and Hazel are lovely, not keen on the others except maybe Felicity.
