Not sure if dc3 is a boy or girl yet but I like Milo and Millie, neither have I met in rl. Are there many near you? What could they be shorted from?

I know 4 children called Millie, all aged 3 - 5 years old.

I don't know any Millies. I know one Milo, who lives the opposite end of the country from me.

I know of one Milo, he's under 1 year old.

My dog is called Milly. I don't think it is a "dogs name" as a result but things do get confusing when walking through a park. Shoot her name, 4 dogs and 3 under 5's turn around.

I know one of each - not personally a huge fan of either as I find Millie too cutesy and Milo too public school (which I am but don't really want the label, and my kids won't be!). Milo's a full name in itself; Millie/y could be Camilla, Millicent, Mildred, Emily, Amelia, Emilia...

Apologies, totally unnecessary personal opinion which you didn't even ask for! Ignore me!

Three Millies, including my DD, no Milos. I did know a sibling set called Millie and Miles.

There are 3 Millies/110 in my dd2s year at school & none in dd1s year. I don't know any Milos (apart from dogs) but I do know a Miles & an Arlo. Arlo's sister is Vita (they are overseas & a long way away so I'm not worried about outing them).

I don't any of either, but I agree with Minty82 about both.

Milo and Millie together aren't great.

Well Milo is a stand alone name, isn't it?

And a fab one at that!

Millie could be short for Emily, Amelia, Camilla?

Millicent & Mildred.

My daughter is Millie and will be 22 in July. There were definately no Millie's around when she was born.

I know hundreds of Millies. Some christened Millie, some that use Millie as a shortening for Amelia, Emily, Amelie, Mariella, Camilla etc...

I've never met a Milo in RL, apart from a dog! One of the Tweenies is Milo. Milo can be a stand-alone name or a nn for Miles / Myles. We know 3 or 4 boys called Miles/Myles.
