Boys' names for indecisive and fussy parents

Due in two days and can't think of a single boy's name I like. The only name DP has suggested is Buddy, but I'm not sure. I don't LOVE any names (I have several girls' names that I love). Want something unusual but not twattish.

The nearest name to something I love is Otto, but that's DP's brother's name, but it gives you an idea of the kind of thing I like maybe. And quite like these (but don't love):

  • Jesse
  • Caleb
  • Spike
  • Forrest

Please help! (Surname is James)

Thanks everyone, good suggestions. Liking Woody, Bay and Grayson.

Is Buddy awful? DP is calling the bump Buddy (we don't even know if it's a boy) and I'm coming round to it, but that could be desperation and hormones.

Buddy will have some people who like it and some people who don't.

Unless you go for a Sam,Ben,Tom etc where one size fits all, you won't get a name that everyone likes.

Just keep a list and see which comes out top nearer the time.

Other -o names:

Ludo
Jago
Django
Nico
Milo
Arlo (as pp have suggested!)
Ringo!

Other nature-y names:

Aspen
Sage (I love this but doesn't go with our surname that well)
Flint
Heath

Buddy... Cute for a bump but really not sure I would take an adult buddy that seriously.

My son is called Buddy
If I had another boy I also like Travis, Rocco, Seth.

I had a wobble before he was born because although I loved it ever since I saw a Jamie Oliver interview and he was talking about hes son Buddy, I felt like it was a name I would have to defend and I'm well aware some people think its awful.
But no name could suit my ds better and when hes an adult there will be other adults called Teddy, Dolly, Albie, Kitty...... it blends in.

I think Buddy is a very sweet name, Magpie. It would be good to have it as a nn for some thing, just to give a bit of choice in the future ... is Buddy a recognised nn for anything?

From your short list, Spike is my favourite. Same as above though.

How about;
Cosmo
Diggory
Inigo
Ivo
Kit
Magnus
Nico
Pax
Quinn
Rex
Ziggy

If you like Buddy, what about Holly Grin

Not Jesse. I like Buddy if it was a nn for something?
Rocco, Rafferty and Grayson are all nice.
What about Roman, Rafe, Porter (my DP loves this name and he is very cool)
