We have a M E G A N
If this bump is a girl we both like Anna.
Would those 2 names together sound silly to you?

No, why would they? Lovely names.

Just realised - you mean both having 'an' in. Nope, it's fine.

Love Anna, was my choice for second child, until we found out we were having a boy!

I can sort of see your DH's point but put them the other way round - so start with Anna and it works well - you'll soon get in the habit. And they're lovely names.

Why the g a p s? I've seen people do this before when writing their children's names. So you can't be tracked down by someone searching your NN?

My DDs have names like that, in that one starts with the same syllable that the other ends with. It's never been a problem. You'd never be running the names together. Even if you were calling them both (to get their attention), you'd still have a break between. If I say "Megan, Anna", in my head, it sounds fine.

"Meganandanna" is a bit of a mouthful.

Sorry to buck the trend, but I don't think they work together. Most people naturally put the older child's name first when saying both.

They're both nice names

Why does it matter what they sound like together? Isn't it better each name suits each dc?
