Ooh tricky because both are gorgeous names. It's so close but I would choose Maia I think. It's a win/win choice.

You haven't said how you'd pronounce Maia, to rhyme with 'fire' or 'May' (the month) - a?

They are both lovely names, BTW, although for Beth I think I would give 'Elizabeth' for the full name.

Beth!

Maia/Mia/Maja/Maya/Mya are very fashionable and not as timeless as Beth imo.

Isn't Beth short for Elizabeth? I like Elisabeth/Elizabeth more than Beth.

Maia is really lovely and gets my vote.

Really like Maia, I know lovely girl called Maia

I think Maia goes really well with your other two but I love them both.

I think Maia sounds better with the mn of Sarah; but I would have to choose Beth, as it is my youngests name (short for Bethany)

Mim78 Tue 14-Jan-14 16:29:35

I like Beth. I really like Elizabeth though (Beth for short).

Alisvolatpropiis Tue 14-Jan-14 18:19:56

Beth, short for Bethan, if you wanted a longer form.

Maia will just get swallowed up in similar sounding but equally popular names, at the moment anyway.

TicTacZebra Tue 14-Jan-14 18:29:35

Beth is much nicer. Although I have a Beth so I might be just a tiny bit bias. wink

The annoying thing is that everyone assumes that Beth is just a nick name and that her 'real' name is actually Elizabeth/bethany.

I love Beth, but Mia goes better with your existing DDs.

Maia as a spelling I've never seen before and wouldn't have a clue.

I like the name Maia but Maya is the more common spelling (and I think Maja is the nicest spelling!). It is fairly trendy at the moment though.

I think Beth is also nice and goes better with your other girls' names. Bethan is also lovely.
