have met one, DS called her Frisbee the whole time.

Sounds like frisbee, sounds like something said by someone with a speech impediment, I'm not even sure how you pronounce it anyway, please tell me?

Iphigenie? Nn Ginny. My DH won't let me have it.

If you like Thisbe, what about Mopsa?

It's lovely as long as you're not in London. 'Fizzbee' is not so pretty.

I know a Thisbe and it is gorgeous! Don't think the mum regrets it at all, often gets comments on how pretty it is.

No,it's far to popular.

Actually Phoebe would go very nicely with your other two names. smile

Hang on,I'm going to start another Fred....

Charis? Hermione? Esmeralda? Beatrix? Persephone?

Congratulations! Let us know what you decide, or if you want any more suggestions!

Oh, what had you come up with so far? And what does she look like then?

The story is just treated so crudely by the mechanicals in msnd that it feels like a comedy name. Circe and phoebe have a similar feel without seeming a joke name.

She's arrived and none of them suit her.

The ones I like DP doesn't and the ones he likes I don't. sad

Immediately made me think Frisbee.

I thought you'd decided on names smile

Too much like Frisbee for my liking. Nah.

You know she's going to be called Frisbee, right?

Makes me think of Bottom et al in Midsummer Night's. Couldn't take it seriously. Sorry

Also, not if your surname is Wall. Or if you already have a Pyramus.

louloutheshamed Tue 10-Dec-13 16:10:24

i have taught too many hilarious lessons to y8 boys pretending to stab themselves screaming 'die Thisbe die' to take it seriously I'm afraid!

S'all right. smile So long as you don't spell it Thizbe (yes I do know someone whose name is Thizbe)

Opinions please...
