Baby names

Due this week, really struggling: Lucy, Miranda or Orla

All girls names we like seem to be ruled out by having already been used in our gigantic family. Our other DD is Alice.

I like Orla.
My DH likes Miranda best.
Lucy is our compromise name.

What do you think? Running out of time...

Miranda and Lucy are both lovely names. I don't like Orla particularly, if you want an Irish name there are much prettier ones like, say, Saoirse.

I would go for Miranda.

A friend of mine has a DD called Orla...I always kick myself I didn't think of it first.

Lucy....a bit too close to loo seat for me.

Orla, it is beautiful.

Miranda reminds me too much of the gormless sitcom character.

All lovely! Not helpful... Maybe just narrow it down to two (Orla and Miranda?) and see what she looks like?

Those two names have quite different feels imo you may feel one suits her much better than the other. Then the other could be a middle name?

Orla Miranda is beautiful :)
