Hi, please help, we're pretty much set on boys names but stuck on girls. I'm looking for something that's strong but feminine but dh is an Ancient Rome and Ancient Greece geek and keeps suggesting names a little bit too out there. Any suggestions?

Hera Hera Hera.

Please pretty please.

Was on our list for DC3 who was a boy. [narrows eyes balefully in 3 year old's direction]

You can have the name we'd chosen for a girl if you like (currently expecting ds2, so will never get to use it, sob).

Gwen.

But I also like Arya too.

I like the idea of us all being descended through the maternal line to 7 tribes/ 7 women (It has been traced through the female carried mitochondrial DNA) These 7 "daughters of Eve" have each been given a strong female name ... they include Helena, Ursula, Jasmine. I forget the others. But how about Helena ?
