Girls name - more like these?

DC 1 should be on its way in the next couple of weeks and we're still not sure on a girls name.

Halfway through pregnancy we agreed on Iona for a girl and Adam for a boy - Adam has grown on me even more and I love it, but I'm struggling to like Iona any more (for no apparent reason!)

Criteria are:
No M, T or C names
No 'shortened' names as DH and I can't agree whether to call baby the long version or the short version.
Nothing too far out

Other names we like:
Alice
Bethany
Lydia

Thanks very much for any suggestions.

Some lovely suggestions already made
Georgia, Harriet and Emily are lovely classic names.
What about Mabel and Edith

These are lovely, thanks very much.

How do you pronounce Seren? I think it looks really pretty but probably shouldn't choose something I don't know how to say!

Harriet's lovely though DH isn't so keen, and Grace is going to be a middle name.

Thank you.

Bethany is a nice name.

It's SEH-run (rhymes with seven) and is Welsh for star.

If you want to say Seren properly (as in, as it's said in Welsh- as an English person would say star) then it isn't Seh-run and it doesn't rhyme with seven- it's Se-ren.

Definitely an "en" sound and not an "un"

Agree with pp on Se-ren prounciation.
If you like that, there is also Serena (Se-ree-na).
