Came across these names recently

Aida pronounced Ida
Tehya. Not sure how this is pronounced possibly Thea?

Anyone else heard of these?

Tehya pronounced Taya (sort of rhymes with layer). Very pretty imo.

Yes, I've known a baby called this, she must be 13/14 now.

I know a couple of Aidas so don't think that's very unusual. Tehya I would also pronounce Tay-a.

Both lovely names.

I would definitely pron Tehya as Taya rather than as Thea. I know a couple of Tayas.

I've met a couple of Aidas before, I think it's a lovely name.

I know a Tehya who's 3, and a couple if Tayas, it's quite common around here actually

My name is Ida, pronounced Eeda smile Had tons of compliments on it around UK! My hairdresser was naming her baby after me too, but then it was a boy, hehe.

Not sure about Tehya but I do like Aida. Some might pronounce it like the opera though - ay-ee-da.
