Most of the names in drawn to seem to fall into the above category.
Please give me a steer towards something cool (if that doesn't sound pathetic) and classic for a girl...

I like elegant girls names, that can have fun nick-names ie cover the bases if she wants to be a politician or a pop-star, so

Eleanor/Ellie
Charlotte/Charlie
Victoria/Vikki
Thomasina/Tina

...But they might be a bit old fashioned for you.

Unfortunately none of them work for me. I can see the attraction just not loving them.

I'm currently in love with the name Vivienne
Classic and cool IMO

I have never met a granny called Marianne or Helene.

Olive, Lillian and Maud, but not Marianne.

Granny chic: ethel, mabel, dorothy

I don't see many granny chic names here, possibly mary, florence, alice
