OK ... what do we think of Tarina?

Sorry for having two threads on the go.

DH and i have actually managed to pull the same face: 'hmm, maybe' about this name.

It's as close as we've got to agreeing on something!

We like Tara but it rhymes directly with my name. That would be a bit twee ...

So ... Tarina - thoughts please?

(Names we cant agree on:
me: Darcy, Tabitha + Harriett.
DH: Francesca)

Not a fan sorry, it sounds like a brand or the female version of Taurus.

What about Cara, Coral, Tia?

Like all your other listed names, except Darcey.

Tara is lovely, really dislike Tarina. Sounds made up and makes me think of road tar.

Made up and contrived. Odd when your other names are nice.

Tarina is old Irish apparently - meaning special place or hill ........

However - you are all right, Tarina is now in the bin.

We are now bickering over Marina. We both liked it - but then DH says it reminds him of meringue (the pudding) Confused and i said i'd rather spell it with an 'e' - Merina. He said no.

arrrgghhh.

Marina is a royal name and it's top of our list for when I eventually get pregnant.

Isn't Marina the name of the old tart on Last of the Summer Wine who was shagging Howard? please note I only watched this as a youth because we only had one TV and I had literally no vote on what we watched
