Arthur. The others are too common for me Smile

That's really hard. I love them all (except Jacob - the name means 'cheat' which puts me off.)

Probably Arthur but only because the others are so popular generally. And there's something squidgy and cuddly about Arthur for a toddler, then robuist for a child, and then he can be a mean and moody Art when he's a teen. It's a really flexible name.

Also, I once taught an Arthur who was one of the loveliest children ever.

jacob and Jack are really really popular where i live, infact all names with J seem to be!I like George but i am biased!Arthur is great but i know a really awful adult one so it puts me off else i probably would of used it myself.Henry again is slightly too popular but still nice.

They are all very widely used already and I don't find any of them really lovely. But wouldn't life be dull if we all like the same names...Just choose the one YOU love!!

Personally, I love the name Henry. I wouldn't choose it myself as it's so popular but if that sort of thing doesn't bother you...

Second choice George, third choice Arthur.

Thank you. I really don't mind the fact they are commonly used. In fact I don't want an uncommon name as I think they can be sort of labelling for a child. Having said that I'm leaning towards Arthur which is the least common name on this list. Do people think the name Arthur would label a child?

Arthur.
But if you go with Jacob you can call him Jack for short :)

Love them all. George and Jacob are my favourites.

Jack.

George, Henry and Arthur are all Grandad chic, but I don't buy into that, I'm afraid! I would be very cross if my parents had called me Ethel or Gertrude or something, no matter how quirky they thought it was at the time!

Jacob is okay I guess but I have never met a Jake/Jacob who hasn't been a bit of a tosser.

Stewpid, I don't think Arthur would label in the way you ask. It is reasonably popular now, so you may well come across others at school etc. It's certainly not like using Ptolemy or Atticus.

Jack
Henry

Not keen on the others.

I'd choose in order

George
Jack
Henry
Jacob
Arthur

but your preferences matter while mine don't!
