A sister for Alice Violet? Just wondering what you think.
Thanks!

Eleanor is a lovely name, and this combination is great!

extracrunchy Fri 28-Jun-13 14:16:18

Love it!

Rhubarbgarden Fri 28-Jun-13 14:26:40

Every other child has Rose as a middle name at the moment. It's getting a bit boring.

flossy101 Fri 28-Jun-13 14:29:24

Lovely

I think Rose is a bit ubiquitous, but does sound great with a 3 syllable first name.

Love Eleanor. Well, it is my name! My middle name is Mary. How about that?

fussychica England Fri 28-Jun-13 14:36:02

Totally lovely. Your first names are both in my all time favourites.

RaRaZ Fri 28-Jun-13 14:54:16

Lovely :-)

Eleanor Iris
Eleanor Ivy
Eleanor rosemary

If you want to keep to the flower theme but want something less common than rose.

Perfect grin

bugsybill Fri 28-Jun-13 17:43:26

Or Eleanor Indigo if you want a colour theme smile

Rhubarbgarden Fri 28-Jun-13 17:46:13

How about Eleanor Fleur for another single syllable floral name?

mrstowers Fri 28-Jun-13 19:26:51

Ellie Rose? Yawn. Sorry.

GW297 Sun 30-Jun-13 00:36:24

They go perfectly.

AllegraLilac Sun 30-Jun-13 01:37:55

Agree with Mrstowers. She'll be one of many.

jamtoast12 Sun 30-Jun-13 23:32:14

Very common name but still nicesmile agree rose and may are sooooo popular as middle names - its getting boring!

WhereMyMilk Sun 30-Jun-13 23:38:08

Beautiful, biased though as I have one! <disclaimer~she is 9 so wasn't common popular then! > grin

Eleanor is lovely.

Rose as a middle name? Really....? You can't think of anything else? hmm

But ... there's so many beautiful girls' names out there...!

I think it's sweet. Classic, timeless, and with plenty of opportunity for nicknames etc. as and when your DD wants to use them.

Agree, Rose is common as a middle name now. My DD has it. But it was for personal reasons, not 'on trend' reasons. smile

antshouse Mon 01-Jul-13 17:12:55

I have one too. She's a teenager now though.

How about Eleanor Fern if you like the flowery, plant type middle names.

Weegiemum Argentina Mon 01-Jul-13 17:17:19

I know 3 Eleanor or Ellie Roses between the ages of 3 and 7.

Different middle name. Or for a first name what about Elspeth?

dontmeanto Mon 01-Jul-13 17:22:26

Eleanor Roosevelt, it sounds like. But she was a pretty remarkable woman so that's not a bad thing!

notadoctor Mon 01-Jul-13 17:34:01

I absolutely love it as a combination. Maybe I'm biased because my middle name is Rose but I think it's a popular middle name because it sounds so lovely with other girl's names. I wouldn't worry about that.

TallulahBetty Mon 01-Jul-13 18:13:44

Eleanor - lovely.

Rose - boring. Sorry. Just completely unimaginative. Are there any girls with a middle name other than May, Rose or Grace?

MoonHare Mon 01-Jul-13 23:52:14

Love it. You have achieved naming perfection OP.
