What's Johnny's twin sister called?

We have just found out we're having twins, one of each. Well, we knew it was two, just not the genders. So, fixed on John, to be called Johnny for the boy. Just love it, used to live near one - gorgeous boy. Can't agree on his twin sister though....

I want something classy but cool. What do you think? I like Hester, Clara, Cordelia, Tabitha so far - if that helps.

Thanks!

Congrats!

Love Hester. I think you need a name that doesn't end in an 'ee' sound if you're going to use Johnny on a regular basis. Otherwise it's a bit matchy matchy cute.

Honor
Cora
Coral
Stella
Greta
Pearl
Beulah (please! I love it but nobody is ever brave enough!)
Lilah
Bess

Well, Johnny Craddock was married to Fanny. And I used to read a lovely set of books about Janet and John...

Seriously, though, there are some lovely suggestions here.

The Jonny I know has a sister called Esme.

I think Mary goes nicely with John.

Johnny and Mary is a Robert Palmer song - although only us old 'uns might remember that.

Johnny and Stella as suggested above sounds fab. Not keen on Hester but I really like Clara.

Johnny and Marie is a song by a local band I used to watch.

And Johnny and Francis ("Nobody puts baby in the corner") after the iconic film.

Brenda. Cos that's what my mum and her brother were called, they weren't twins though very close in age (~13 months).
