Decided on Rose - but middle name problems

We have pretty much decided on Rose for DD due next week (only name we can really agree on) BUT I really want Mary as a middle name after my Gran, and Rose Mary doesn't work for obvious reasons - i don't like Rosemary as a name v much and don't want her to always have to correct it. So we kind of need a 'filler' middle name to go in between the two and can't come up with one. I don't mind her having two middle names as both of our DS's do, but in both their cases the three names really work together and sound nice (I think) and i am not getting that with Rose (something) Mary. Names beginning with vowels are largely out due to problems with initials (otherwise I would have Rose Elizabeth Mary, which I think sounds lovely but not as initials). So am handing it over to collective mumsnet wisdom to come up with something...

I think a 3 syllable name would work best and maybe one not ending in y :

Francesca
Georgina
Caroline
Victoria
Christina
Dorothea
Fiona
Harriet
Jennifer
Lydia

Or how about Rose Maria?

I also think a three syllable name would be nicest between Rose & Mary.

Rose Catherine Mary
Rose Cordelia Mary
Rose Rebecca Mary
Rose Louisa Mary
Rose Harriet Mary

I agree a longer name sounds best. Catherine is nice, I quite like Beatrice but my mum on several occasions has said how much she dislikes it which puts me off! Lydia an interesting possibility as was DH's gran. Not sure I have found the one yet though.

I woul try a shortish second name or else the whole name (combined with your surname) may be too long for forms etc

Rose Louise Mary
Rose nadia Mary
Rose Lydia Mary
Rose Anna Mary
Rose Caitlin Mary
Rose Susan Mary
Rose liberty Mary

Is rom ok?
Rose Olivia Mary

Quite difficult as so many shorter names start with a vowel.

Thank you for suggestions - I am liking Rose Olivia Mary at the moment, could still go for Lydia though which is quite similar sounding and I suppose at least has some family connection!
