Middle name for Madeleine

Has anyone got any suggestions for a middle name for Madeleine? I'm not keen on Grace, and Rose is too similar to our surname. They are the obvious one-syllable ones but I'd appreciate some other ideas. Thanks!

Clare.

I have a Madeleine Elizabeth. It is a bit of a mouthful but it's a family name! I agree a one syllable name flows better. How about...
Ruth?
Joy?
Hope?
Blyth?
Quinn?

I think it doesn't work with one syllable.

I read it out to myself and thought Dolores. Bit random.

Madeleine Roselle

Other one syllable ones

Madeleine Ruth

Thanks everyone. So far I like Kate, Clare, May, Estelle. And I guess longer names shouldn't be ruled out, they don't sound too bad. Keep them coming please!

How about Madeleine Mary if you don't mind the alliteration. I think it's a lovely combination smile

BananaRaces Tue 18-Jun-13 13:31:30

Madeleine Louise... but then I might be bias, as it's a family name. smile

I thought May at first.

Gretel/Gretl - bit out-there, but I think it flows

Not May - would be "Maddie May" if shortened. Too close to "Maggie May"?

Madeleine Eleanor
Madeleine Isobel

Madeleine Abigail
