Need a name for Dd2. The two names I am considering at present are:

  1. Beatrice, or
  2. Jemima

What do you think? Which do you prefer?

Both nice, but I prefer Beatrice.

Jemima. Beatrice is everywhere at the moment.

TheRealFellatio · 17/06/2013 18:40

Jemima.

What's with all the Beatrice Love all of a sudden? Confused

I don't like it.

whereissummer · 17/06/2013 19:55

Yes, Beatrice does appear to be v popular at the moment.....!
Any further comments appreciated.

Like both, for me it would depend on what your DD1's name is.

SleepyCatOnTheMat · 17/06/2013 20:13

For example, if it ends in an 'a' I would go for Beatrice over Jemima. If it's Biblical I might go for Jemima over Beatrice, so that there is a theme. Etc.

Jemima was a doll in Playschool, but perhaps I'm just showing my age

Beatrice, definitely!

meglet · 17/06/2013 21:18

Beatrice, but only just. I think it seems more grown up. Jemima is lovely but it also reminds me of the Playschool doll.

Beatrice - Love Bea

Don't like Jem or Jemma for short at all
