Hi guys,
Really like the name Libby for a girl. I love Reeco for a boy. My hubby, myself and little boy who is 4 have middle names beginning with J. Any suggestions for middle names beginning with J to go with the above choices??? xx

What about Federico? Nickname can either be Fede or Rico. I would suggest Enrico but see you already have a Henry. Don't like Reeco ..... Looks made up and will be destined to be spelt as Rico or have people think you have misspelt it in the first place.

First thing I associate with Rico though is Barry Manilow's Copacabana!

Reeco ditched but still like Rico..do you?

MrsSchadenfreude Sun 26-May-13 21:52:44

Reeco sounds like a discount wholesaler to me. Sorry.

My OH doesn't like Eric but thanks anyway

YoureAllABunchOfBastards Sun 26-May-13 21:46:15

What about Eric, with Rico as a nickname?

I do love Eric

I think Rico Jay is nice..does it go with Ingham? Do you prefer Henry...it's so hard :-( I love Libby but feel like I need two choices that I like just as much..

AmandaPayneNeedsANap Sun 26-May-13 21:34:39

I like Henry better, but it's personal taste. Rico and Henry are both great names which go well with Luca (although I thinking matching names are overrated).

Glad you have ditched Reeco.

Love Libby Jean. Always wanted to use Jean.

Thanks 'Amandapayneneedsanap' I didn't realise 'Reeco' would be so unpopular...I like Rico and Henry and I'm torn now....Least I know people know the name 'Rico' and would pronounce it correctly. Thanks

AmandaPayneNeedsANap Sun 26-May-13 21:30:12

Names a bit like Luca:

Nico
Emilio
Leon
Enzo
Marco
Ezra

?

Ds2's friend is Rico and no one calls him Ricko.

Rico John

Rico Jay

Rico James

Libby Jo

Libby Jane

Libby Jazz

AmandaPayneNeedsANap Sun 26-May-13 21:27:49

I'd agree, go with Rico. I think people would only say Rick-o if you spelt it Ricko. Honestly, people can say Rico.

Don't be embarrassed.

mummsy2be Sun 26-May-13 21:25:09

That was supposed to be the embarrassed face..

mummsy2be Sun 26-May-13 21:23:54

•Embarrassed: Embarrassed [blush

mummsy2be Sun 26-May-13 21:22:34

I'm thinking not now....I would rather people be honest...Def not sticking with Reeco...Rico is obviously better

BonaDea Sun 26-May-13 21:09:06

By all means use the name Rico if you like it but for the love of god don't spell it Reeco. It's ridiculous. Sorry.

mummsy2be Sun 26-May-13 21:05:33

Oh gosh..I never thought about 'Reeks' maybe Rico is better then...I do like Henry Joe...My other half likes Rico because its different xx

JojoMags Sun 26-May-13 15:33:15

Libby is sweet. Juliette maybe as a mn. Not keen on Reeco. Reminds me of 'reeks' which is not good, and the name looks like a brand of cleaning product. Rico is better and most people would know how to pronounce it. I much prefer though Henry, which is gorgeous, and love Hal as a nn.

Henry James
Henry John
Henry Joe
Henry Jacob
Henry Jasper

It goes with most J middle names.

What would be a good middle name for Henry? My son is 4 and is Luca..

squoosh Sat 25-May-13 22:59:27

Libby is lovely but to be honest I'm not crazy about Reeco.

What about Luca, Marco, Enzo, Nico, Leo?

Henry is a great name, miles better than Reeco too!

mummsy2be Sat 25-May-13 22:53:46

p.s my middle name is Jane with a 'y' Jayne

mummsy2be Sat 25-May-13 22:52:24

No I agree with you 'squoosh'...I'm nitpicky too! Do you like Reeco? I have taught in the past and hard to pick a name that does not relate to someone..I like Italian/Spanish sounding names although 'Henry' was a previous choice

squoosh Sat 25-May-13 22:47:39

Hmmmm, not sure that a two syllable name goes as well as say Libby Jane or Libby Jennifer for example. I think one of the names needs to have either less than or more than two syllables.

But that's just being nitpicky, Libby Jenna is fine if that's the one you like.

mummsy2be Sat 25-May-13 22:46:16

I didn't want people to read Rico and say rick-o that's all. .thanks for your help x

mummsy2be Sat 25-May-13 22:44:27

Do you think Libby Jenna goes with Ingham..I know it is not 1 syllable.?

mummsy2be Sat 25-May-13 22:43:19

Thankyou :-)
