Gardner.
One of the most beautiful women ever.
As a name, I love it.

My beautiful, amazing, wonderful daughter smile

My daughter. Before she was born, It was Ava Gardner.

My dog's called Ava but she's a very elegant, dignified old greyhound. DH and the DCs chose it and it does suit her.
There are quite a few little girls around here with the name which makes for lots of fun in the park when DD,3, yells, 'Ava's doing a POOOOO!'

Pretty, but lots of them (or variations of) around.

In my nursery, I have:

Evie x 3
Ava x2
Ellie/Ellie-May/Ella-May x 3

A rather precocious girl with a gobby mother...but that's the worst thing about being a teacher-otherwise lovely names get ruined.

The daughter of an MNer, who had a thread about naming her girl some years ago.

Lovely name, but extremely popular - that's the reason I didn't go for it.

"Dave's sister Ava is braver" - Caveman Dave by Nick Sharratt, a work of genius for toddlers, and dinosaur lovers everywhere.

Succoria Wed 22-May-13 21:44:18

My first thought would be "oh, another one". It's a nice name but everywhere you look there is another Ava/Eva.

Sorry.
