I'd say if nothing comes to you intuitively that searching for nickname is bit pretentious

No, sorry I tried and can't. It is an ancestral name that you are expected to use in order to inherit the castle?

Hex? To rhyme with sex? Or hex like a gypsy's curse?! Confused

I did think Hex, but it means evil spell. I don't feel the need for a nickname, but dp is troubled by the lack of.

There aren't any nice nicknames imo - Heck? Hex? Also, the meaning of hector would put me off.

Hex or Tori/Tor. Probably Hex, but I am a bit odd and do love me an 'x' in a name.

And nn's just happen, you don't need an automatic one. You'll probably end up calling him something completely random related to something he did as a toddler anyway.

Neither of my DS's nn's have any obvious associations with their names, they just kind of evolved over time. Don't sweat it.
