Will be a sibling to Skye and Arlo.

Opinions and suggestions please,I've looked at a lot of names (this is a very short list in comparison!) but I haven't found 'the one' yet, unless one of these grows on me....

Sylvie
Ivy
Elsa
Romy
Hera
Nell
Merryn (merry)
Vita
Pippa

Me too,I always have...I worry it's about to become popular though.

I love Sylvie and Elsa but I am not keen on the rest.

Personally, I wouldn't worry about that. What about marron?

Love Sylvie - my gran was a Sylvia so was tempted but it didn't work with surname. Also like Vita.

Etta, Elsa or Merryn for me.

It's so tricky...my favourite names are Maude,Agnes,Tabitha,Mildred,Ida,Mabel,Myrtle,Betsy,Agatha et al....
but I think they are too dissimilar to Skye.

I'm trying to balance between a name I love, and a name that won't sound completely odd next to her sisters.

I like Etta as well. What difference does it make if it becomes popular? If you do it now you'll be ahead of the trend :P

Nell, Ivy or Sylvie. All very pretty.

Rhine my aunt is a Sylvia...I'm hoping no one will pay much attention to the connection,as we haven't used any 'family' names at all- there are too many traditions in both our family's and if we used one,we'd have to use the others and then we'd have no say in our DC names at all Grin

Skye and Arlo go absolutely fine with Betsy, Tabitha, Ida, and maaaaaybe Mabel.

miv I was one of fecking dozens with my name at school,I hated it. I don't want a name that will end up being over popular.

Merryn/Merry is cute and I like Nell as a nn for Helena/Elinor. Like Sylvie. Zinnia and Rita are terrible, sorry.

UpTheFRIGGinDuff · 06/05/2013 20:08

Zinnia and Rita have been on and off the list a few times Remus Wink
Nell wouldn't be a nn for anything, just Nell.

VAVA Urm,yes, that may have been me...I'm normally some variation on Frigg...

I do love baby names Grin and this will be my last it took me long enough to convince DP it was a wonderful idea,I think he'd keel over at the idea of DC4 so it neeeeeeds to be perfect.
