Decided on Hadley for girl baby name - now just looking for a middle name! None of the family options suit. Any ideas? smile

Hadley is a lovely name - Hadley Freeman is a journalist whose name I've always admired.

Hadley Victoria (or Vita)
Hadley Simone
Hadley Tana
Hadley Margaret
Hadley Ruth

Also like Emily Strange btw!

Thanks for the lovely comments thanks and for the really nice suggestions. I know Hadley is a little unusual but I didn't think it was THAT out there! The main thing is that we love it.

Incidentally, I've known dogs/cats called Paul, George and Jessie so I don't think you can really legislate for the no dog name thing grin

The family names don't really work so much, May could be similar to Mary (my gran) and Hadley is due in May. The other family name is Frances but not sure about that one.

Out of the suggestions I'm particularly liking:

Hadley Sophia
Hadley Grace
Hadley Rose
Hadley May
Hadley Eva (I really prefer the Ava spelling but the initials would be silly)
Hadley Emma
Hadley Zoe
Hadley Olivia

Hadley Elizabeth is nice too and I like Scout but agree it mightn't match..

I've no middle name suggestions sorry, but what a lovely first name smile

Hadley Scout (DD's middle name, although maybe a bit harsh together)
Hadley Jade
Hadley Sarah
Hadley Olivia
Hadley Georgina
Hadley Elise

Hadley Elizabeth

I think it needs a long rather than short middle name to make it more feminine.

Hadley Kay
Hadley Belle
