Is 'your' baby name popular? What does it mean? And what does Mumsnet's (not-so-serious) Baby name finder predict?
Just wondering what people think of Albert. I love it, but am wondering if it sounds a bit pretentious - if you heard it would you think the baby had been named after Einstein?
My OH is really pushing for this name and I hate it, well not actually the name tbh, just with OH's accent he doesn't say the T sound, and in Bertie (his preferred nn) it sounds terribly hillbilly.
Yep it makes me think of Prince Albert. I like it and was considering it but DH doesn't love it.Albie is another nn
I like it. In fact it is the only 'old man' name I like. Getting quite popular though.
Love it- think it suits a certain person - my best friend is calling her boy Bertie and i think its perfect for her and her kid.
