What are your thoughts on this girl's name?? We already have Aurelia Rose and Poppy Jessica, quite like 'unusual' names and also flower names? Baby due in just over a week and just can't decide! Btw, if it's a boy, we love Flynn.

Awful, and not real

I like the names you have but not the new one (daren't try and spell it from memory!). How about Holly, Primrose, Posy, Rose, Lily, Daffy or Skylark?

Is it a made up spelling of taylor?

PurpleStorm · 09/04/2013 23:33

It sounds a bit made-up. And I'm not entirely sure how it should be pronounced. Looks like it should be Tea - Lah?
And it doesn't look like it fits very well with Aurelia and Poppy either.

Flynn's a nice name.

Oh yes, I like Flynn too.

According to google it is a name meaning watercourse.

But when I first saw it I'll admit I we tring to work out what it was a misspelling of, or whether it was a word backwards like nevaeh/heaven.

It just looks a bit wrong to me and doesn't really fit aurelia and poppy which aren't desperately unusual or off the wall (and that's a positive to me). They're pretty.

Flynn is great. I know a lovely 8yr old Flynn.

Daphne? Dahlia? Iris? Primrose? Flora?

Having just suggested Skylark, I'm not sure I'd actually recommend that one haha!

I think it's of Indian origin? slave can you confirm? it has been suggested by a family member and I thought it sounded made up too at first but is sort of growing on me. Just wanted others reactions so thanks for the feedback Smile. Dh likes fleur but I think it just sounds like 'blur'?! It's so hard!

I think she'd feel jealous of her sisters. I don't like it sorry.

Constance would fit nicely.

I don't like bonnie. It does, I'm afraid, make me think of a dog's name. Don't like fleur either.

Bonnie def more a dog's name then?! Hmmm

Didn't realise teela was a he-man character! Lol

Lydia is nice but also a close friend's daughters name.

Let's hope it's a boy cos I'm struggling with another girl's name Confused
