Oh yes the Scottish ned thingy.

My cat is Ned.

I don't know any Teds. Love it though.

WouldBeHarrietVane Wed 10-Apr-13 17:19:34

Love it and only know one!

It's my neighbours dog - sorry - prefer Edward to Ed

DonkeysDontRideBicycles Wed 10-Apr-13 17:17:20

Am in Scotland so ned has unfortunate connotations - so Ted for me.

everlong Wed 10-Apr-13 14:22:47

Prefer Ned.

I like Edward and the NNs ( including Ned) but cousin had it for his son so we are thinking of going for Theodore if my second baby is a boy and then have the choice of Theo or Ted/Teddy as NN

Ellypoo Tue 09-Apr-13 22:41:08

I know 3 Ted/Teddy's and one Edward who doesn't have a nn yet so think its getting more popular.

I love it. Only know a dog called Ted though.

spottyock Tue 09-Apr-13 15:12:42

Getting more popular. I love it and a front runner for this baby.

KathySeldon Tue 09-Apr-13 15:02:26

I know of two.
And I don't like the name.

I know one little Edward nn Ted. In fact, he's the only baby Edward I've known in years.

I think it's a lovely name.

whyno Tue 09-Apr-13 12:26:48

Actually 3 Edwards, only 2 shortened to Ted.

whyno Tue 09-Apr-13 12:26:15

I know two babies so far this year, think its about to become super popular.

thermalsinapril Tue 09-Apr-13 11:10:00

I don't know any young Teds.

lollypopsicle Tue 09-Apr-13 07:58:32

It's on our boy short list but looks like we're having a girl. No plans to call her teddy, though.

thegreylady Mon 08-Apr-13 21:27:57

My Edward is Ted smile

toastedteacake Mon 08-Apr-13 20:51:25

Ed, Ned or Teddy more popular round these parts. (Wiltshire)

IAteTheCake Mon 08-Apr-13 20:41:46

How popular is Edward nn Ted?
