Beautiful name for DD1.
Alice Rose and Isobel Edith. Lovely.
We have a friend who name DD2 Lauren Alice. smile

Rose is a very popular middle name, I know, but nothing else seems to go as well smile

DD1's name is Isobel Edith smile

abbyfromoz Thu 04-Apr-13 17:19:11

Overused because of it's sheer awesomeness! (Mine and DD's middle name) hmm

Daisy Alice and Alice Daisy both work well.
I think Rose is very over used as a middle name, but Rosalie is just a bit more interesting, so Alice Rosalie is pretty.

Alice Rose

I really like both Alice and Daisy (in fact, have used both!) but I'm not entirely convinced they go together. I think one name needs to be three syllables to balance the shortness of Alice or Daisy, personally. Alice Rose too short overall for my ear.

Alice Hermione
Alice Isabella
Alice Melissa

Daisy Susannah
Daisy Louisa
Daisy Vanessa

for example...

I like Alice Daisy. AD are good initials too, they sound elegant together.

I think Alice Daisy works. Any anyway, how often do people get referred to by their first and middle name? If the middle name is getting thrown in to conversation most likely the surname will too, and that changes the whole dynamics again.

Go with Alice Daisy <Surname>

Rose is very pretty but hugely popular as a second name, if it doesn't bother you go for Rose.

Am not Cornish but love the name Demelza, more unusual than Daisy.

Daisy Alice. I love the name Daisy but OH doesn't so I can't use it!

abbyfromoz Thu 04-Apr-13 13:35:41

Alice Rose...
What is DC1 name?

NippyDrips Thu 04-Apr-13 13:24:16

I like all of those but like Alice rose best. All options are lovely though and there is nothing wrong with a little fuel having a girly name.

siluria Thu 04-Apr-13 13:18:21

Sorry for those of you who have responded to earlier threads of mine!

A while back I posted about Daisy Alice for DC2. DC2, it turns out, is almost definitely a DD smile

We still like Daisy Alice, but do have the niggle about the girliness of Daisy.

DH likes Alice better than Daisy, but can't think of a middle name.

Does Alice Daisy work?

The only other thing we can think of is Alice Rose.

So these are the options:

Daisy Alice
Alice Daisy
Alice Rose
