Help! Need to decide my boy's name today

Hi there,
We can't decide on our baby's name and need to register him this afternoon.
We've narrowed it down to the following:
Lennox Jeremiah
Lennox Brodie
Brodie Alexander
Brodie Theodore

Surname begins with 'L' and ends 'on'.

Any thoughts much appreciated!
Thanks :-)

1 vote for Brodie Alexander Smile

NaturalBlondeYeahRight · 02/04/2013 09:15

Brodie Alexander for me too. Lennox L#%^on too harsh.

Hooleywhipper · 02/04/2013 09:20

Brodie Alexander is lovely, I'm adding my vote

AmandaPayntedEgg · 02/04/2013 09:29

Not keen on Lennox. So I vote Brodie too. Either middle name. They are both nice.

Actually, if it was my baby with those combinations of names, I'd go Theodore Brodie L----on. But I'm guessing that's not helpful Grin

SleepyCatOnTheMat · 02/04/2013 09:30

I would spell it Brody - this is the more common spelling for boys, Brodie is more common for girls. Very nice name though, and another vote for Alexander as the middle name here.

bootsycollins · 02/04/2013 09:32

Brodie Alexander [busmile]

weegiemum · 02/04/2013 09:36

Brodie is most definitely a boy spelling in Scotland, I've never heard of a girl with this name.

I love Brodie Alexander. When he's older you could take him to Brodie Castle as the place his name comes from!!

Badgerhoney · 02/04/2013 09:37

Sleepy, yeah, I agonised over the spelling but as we're in Scotland I decided to opt for ie as that's the traditional spelling up here for boys. But think in Ireland and America it tends to be y. :-)

Another vote for Brodie Alexander! Grin

SleepyCatOnTheMat · 02/04/2013 09:40

In that case Brodie Alexander, absolutely.

Badgerhoney · 02/04/2013 09:41

Thanks weedgiemum, you've restored my faith! My only one tiny concern is that Brodie is getting more popular up here. It still seems to be just out of the top 50 boys names in Scotland so as long as it doesn't climb too much higher it will be ok.

I immediately thought Brodie Alexander too! Sounds lovely.

Badgerhoney · 02/04/2013 09:56

Thanks everyone, this is a massive help! Just one last thing, do you think the initials B A L are ok? I think it's fine but just checking! I think B A L**on will sound good. :-)
