Names for twin girls

We are expecting twin girls in a couple of months.

We keep coming back to the name Grace for one twin, despite it being incredibly popular at the moment.

We also quite like Rose, Eva, Eve, Ada etc but nothing else seems to have stuck as much as Grace has.

Our surname begins with a vowel so names ending in 'a' can get a bit 'lost'.

Any ideas for classic names to go with Grace would be much appreciated, we would ideally shy away from anything too 'of the moment' and also would like to keep the name short so one poor kid doesn't have to worry about learning to spell something three times as long as her sister!

Congrats on your twins - I have twin girls too, but both with names ending in 'a'!

I love Grace, and I don't think it's overly popular at the moment, certainly not in our area. How about Ruby, Eloise, Ellen?

Ellen is a family name but sadly practically rhymes with our surname. I like Lily, Rose and Emily -are they riding high in the 'name charts' at the moment?!

Ruby is certainly having a 'moment' round our way.

Oddly Eloise was in the running a few weeks ago but DH seems to have gone off it despite having a lot of fun signing The Damned song 'Eloise' to himself!

Anne/Hannah etc means Grace - might be a nice way to 'match' twins?

No I'd say top 20 for a few years but not overwhelming. Grace is pretty timeless, imo it suits a little girl, teen and grown woman.
