We are ttc but have been tossing names around for a while now Smile

I love the name Greyson, Dh loves the name Grey which i am more than happy to use as a nick name but would prefer our child to have a longer name DH not a fan of Greyson, are there any other alternatives out there?

I also like:

Cole - My all time most favourite name, Dh hates this
Jonah - we both like this
Caleb - not sold on it
Ralph - i love dh is meh

any suggestions?

Greyson is fab - can't you work on convincing your DH as to the merits o this name some more?

There's Graham I suppose not as cool as Greyson

I love Jonah.

Don't mind 'Grey' either but, since you asked I think Greyson is awful.

I think both Grey and Greyson are dreadful.

I do like Jonah and Caleb and Cole is OK but Ralph doesn't appeal much.

Grayden?

I was going to say Graham too Smile
I have to say, Jonah is the only one of those I'd contemplate.
'Grey' just conjures up pictures of doom and gllom to me.

Still - each to their own.

Grayden, reminds me of the Jayden, Hayden theme which i do not like.

Back i do like Jonah, but have lots of comments about the whale Hmm although it doesn't actually bother me if adults don't like the name but i wouldn't want my child to bullied because of their name. Also Jonah is very close to Jonas which imo is bleurgh.

I think on this one i am gonna have to bully dh into Greyson if we have a boy.

Fifty shades is a lot more contemporary (larry was a very camp tv presenter from the seventies).

I love The name Grey and was going to say Greyson!
Both were Veto'd by DH

Grady?

I know what 50 shades is about and the lead character it just never interested me to read, went to popular to fast and what it essentially is, is shit fan fiction from what i have heard. Not my kind of reading. Its already beginning to loose it's status as the best book ever

A camp tv presenter doesn't put me off either.

Ralph and willies your gonna have to explain that one??

I can't imagine a willy called Ralph. Surely most of them don't have names???

Love Grey and Greyson. Very modern but can imagine a boy, a teenager and a man called Grey (this is how I try and decide if a name is suitable or not)

I'd just call him Grey. No longer name needed.

I like Wolf, and Bear, neither dh would agree to. Not that you mentioned Bear Grin

I like Ralph for several reasons its a family name and also a really cool muppet Grin

I suppose i do like Grey just as a name to Smile
