It has a proper retro 50s, suave vibe going on, doesn't it?!

It seems like an American name more than an English one - and Lane Price wasn't particularly sophisticated (and what a grisly end), but still, there's definitely something about the name.

I think a lot depends on your surname, but if you like it, go for it. smile

I LOVE this name. Absolutely love it, but my dh has vetoed it. Thinks people would call him Street (or some such thing). If that didn't bother you, then I'd go with it. It's lovely.

Haha - just finished S5 last night! Wouldn't use Lane after that. Prefer Austin.

Have you seen season five (trying not to post any spoilers)?

I quite like it actually. Only thought is it sounds a bit girly perhaps? Austin and Miles are nice, especially the latter.

So currently looking for a boys name and quite like the name Lane (as in Lane Pryce). However I have my reservations, even though the charicter is English I've never heard of an English Lane.

So let me know your thoughts and offer any alternatives that might be similarish. Other names I like are Austin and Miles.
